About Me

Hi My name is Rob Morris. I'm a developer and aspiring designer located in Edmonton, Alberta Canada where I live with my beautiful wife Sally, our amazing kids Ruby and Andre and our dog Zoe.

In 2020, like many others I was forced to pivot careers as the ongoing pandemic did a number on my previous industry aviation, where I was working as an IFR Operational Training Specialist for Nav Canada. There, I would help create and operate IFR training for current and prospective IFR air traffic controllers in the simulator.

Prior to aviation, I ran my own Quality Inspections contracting company where I was a level 2 welding inspector and had contracts with companies such as: Worley Parsons Cord, Brion Energy and Pembina. I believe my varied work history has given me an advantage over most as I am able to adapt and learn quickly. For fun, I like to be as creative as possible and produce music under the moniker FathersBrother. Outside of coding and design, I enjoy digital art, watching basketball, soccer and F1.
